MONOCOUCHE
MONOCOUCHE

MONOCOUCHE 3D thick-coat finishing mortar originates from classic European single-coat plaster craft, an integrated inorganic finishing system upgraded with modern formulations. It integrates levelling, waterproofing, decoration and protection in one material; single-layer forming enables efficient construction, lower dead load and stable structure.

Full-body pigmented, alkali-resistant and weatherproof, the product features diversified textures and styles. Applicable for both mechanical spraying and manual trowelling to create various artistic finishes. Ideal for interior and exterior wall decoration of villas, hotels, public buildings and residential projects.

1. Core Product Features

As an inorganic thick-layer decorative mortar, this product combines plastering, waterproofing, decoration and protection into one layer finished in a single application, greatly simplifying conventional multi-layer construction procedures.

Formulated with inorganic mineral base, selected aggregates, polymers, fibres and multi-functional additives, it delivers compact texture and natural surface grain.

Factory pre-formulated with standardized ratios; only on-site water mixing is required prior to application for consistent, reliable quality control.

Bulk pigmentation delivers outstanding anti-ageing performance and long-lasting colour while effectively preventing efflorescence on substrate walls.

Breathable yet water-repellent to block rainwater penetration and safeguard wall substrates.

Evenly distributed structural stress reduces risks of cracking, hollowing and delamination from a structural perspective.

2. Comprehensive Advantages

1. Construction Efficiency

Eliminates separate layered procedures by integrating levelling, waterproofing and finishing into one construction phase. Thick coating is applied in two passes with only several hours’ interval between coats without lengthy curing downtime, drastically shortening project duration. Mechanized spray application is available for large-scale projects.

2. Structural Load Reduction

Standard applied thickness: 15–20 mm, unit weight: 20–25kg/㎡. Compared with conventional plaster plus finish system (30–55kg/㎡), it cuts dead load efficiently and benefits structural safety of high-rise buildings.

3. Superior Durability

Homogeneous monolithic finish ensures consistent thermal expansion & contraction to avoid delamination caused by mismatched multi-layer materials. High bonding strength secures tight adhesion with base course to prevent hollowing and cracking over long service life.

4. Eco-friendliness & Low Maintenance

Formaldehyde-free and low-VOC during production and construction for low-carbon environmental compliance. Facade renovation can be done via thin overlay directly on existing coating without extensive removal, cutting construction waste. The finished surface is easy to clean for minimal routine maintenance.

5. Additional Performance

The material provides inherent thermal insulation and sound insulation to upgrade overall building performance.

Construction Process

Machine Spraying: Mix materials mechanically, spray onto walls with spraying equipment and level manually. Single coat reaches approx.10mm, ideal for large-area construction.

Hand Trowelling: Apply fully by hand after mixing, single thickness around 10mm, suitable for small areas and irregular curved facades.

Texture Forming: When partially cured (soft texture without falling off), sand with special float or sponge wash to achieve washed-stone and various artistic textures.
